Hey, it's been a while, so I guess I should update y'all on where I've been in this time I've been away

Truth be told, I've never stopped making art, it's actually the opposite of that, I've done a lot more art recently. But... Where's that art then?

Well... Remember the Animal Redraws? The ones I used to post in these blog posts? I've been doing lots of those, far more than before in fact (before September 2023, in 1 year and 1 month I made 37 redraws, since September 2023 until now I've made over 70 different redraws and counting). It's just that I can't share them in the gallery because of NG's Art Gallery guidelines, and I would share them as blog posts again, but it's such a big backlog at this point that I don't know if I'll ever get to share them all like in the past

So, when can we expect Original (and Fanart) Content again?... That's one question I don't know the answer of

I've been doing other art related things that are original in a sense, such as the monthly wallpapers I now sell at Ko-Fi, or the rebrand of my Carrd, but at the moment I don't know if I'll get to the consistency I used to do original/fanart pieces in the past, as the redraws became my focus lately (I find them fun to do, and lots of people like them, so yeah)

I made this blog post with the purpose of letting y'all know where things have been, and while it seems like I abandoned Newgrounds, it's far from that, it's just that Redraws aren't allowed in the Gallery, and I don't really wanna risk it, y'know?

If I make something original sometime in the future, I'll try to share it here too, but like I said before, redraws became my focus lately, so they won't happen as often at this moment, sadly

I'm sorry for that, NG still has a special place in my heart though, as it's one of the websites I grew up with, so this account won't be abandoned like it happened with my reddit, it's just inactive due to lack of new original art

I'll stop writing this for now. Hopefully I'll find you again more sooner than later. Byebye

for one side, I'm going back to doing original drawings, I feel like I did enough cat redraws for now, so I'm gonna do more original stuff worthy of being uploaded into the gallery, may it be songs, fanarts or things with OCs, such as Anubi... About that...

I've decided to rebrand my accounts as "AnubiArts", because I wanted to change my username for a long while now, and now it felt like a good time to do so. This account specifically still has the old username (that being ANoob), but I plan to change it once I support Newgrounds money-wise

Hey! It's been a while

If you're wondering where I've been, I was making art, cat redraws specifically, it's just that I don't share them in here one by one due to the art gallery rules, instead I save them for these kind of blogs, which allow these pieces

But enough about that! Here's the 7 cat redraws I did in the past months

This one was the first I did after a while without doing these, and it was an updated version of a cat redraw I did in the past, with a more different art-style and perspective

I wanted to make this one and other, similar ones for a long while now, but I've finally made it (... some months ago)

Like the first one, this one was an updated redraw, with a new art-style and other small changes (like a new palette)

I made this one when I was feeling a bit down

The following ones are the newest, with a slight update to the art-style and a new border, among other small details

This one I felt was a bit too simple, but oh well, at least no one will find them there

and the last one, surrounded by a lot of watermelons

That's all for now! I'm gonna do a few more of these, but I'm also planning other, original content (such as the pixel arts/low polys I made so far) among other things, which I can't wait to show

First of all, thanks for the support in my latest works, I'm glad that so many of you liked them, and quite a lot of you decided to stick around for more, thank you.

Now, I have more planned models, with more 2D characters and 3D scenery, but if you start noticing that they're a bit more "simpler" compared to my two last scenes, that's because lately I've been feeling down mentally, and I'm starting to have a burnout again, so I can't really keep up with more complete scenes at this moment due to those two problems. I'll still try to make models, but it'll most likely be in the style of the model below (at least until I recover a bit)

I hope I can start making complete scenes again as soon as possible, but in the meantime I'll need to make these kind of models, to not worsen the aforementioned problems. I hope you can understand, and I'm sorry for this.

it turns out that I can't last even an entire week without making some kind of art, therefore I'm back

I'll try to take it more easy this time around though, not trying to force myself to make something every day, since that's what ended up burning me the most (this may mean that there will be less art overall, but I rather have fun and enjoy the process rather than force me every day to do something)

I also have a new design for the banner I use, which I'll try to update every few months with the art I made around that time

Hello there, I wanted to let you know that I'm gonna be taking an art break for the time being. I've been feeling kinda burned out from art-making in the past month or so. Don't get me wrong, it's fun to do pixel and low poly art, but that spark that made me do it with joy isn't really there right now, you know?

There's also my dysphoria (which has been killing me mentally) and overall I can't really keep going with all of this at once, so I'm gonna take a (hopefully small) time off from Art to recover. I hope to be back soon with more pieces!

I made two more pieces in these past days, those being some (tiny) Cat Redraws, but I didn't share them in here due to the Art Portal rules (one of those being "No Photography"), and I wanted to wait a bit more so I can compile them into one news post (which allows them). Since I don't see myself being capable of making another one in the next 13 hours at the time of writing this, I'll just share both of them here.

With those (tiny) cat redraws out of the way, I want to thank you all for the support so far. I've wanted to join Newgrounds for a long while now, and I'm just happy of being here, in a platform where I used to play tons of its games years ago.

I have more plans for my art and 2023, and I can't wait to show you all of them. Have a happy 2013. (... Yes, I'm planning my stuff 10 years into the future.)
